Anglophone crisis: Boyo SDO calls for peace

The Senior Divisional Officer for Boyo Division, North West region of Cameroon, has called on his collaborators and the indigenous people of the area to pull their weight in efforts towards the restoration of peace in the locality.

Fidel Tegni made the call while chairing a meeting in Fundong.

During the meeting, he insisted that the quest for meaningful development and peace remains a prerequisite for the entire population.

The call from the Boyo SDO is coming to add to numerous calls from other administrative authorities of the division.

“We have to work very hard. The ghost towns and lockdowns are really regarding the progress of the division”

“So our objective is to crack down these illegal prescriptions because if we continue then it is going to be an economic suicide and the Boyo administration cannot accept it,” Fidel Tegni said.

The representative of the Fon of Kom at the meeting brought a message of peace and called on the people to support all endeavors to make life comfortable in Boyo.
