The population of Mulang and its environs have celebrated the death of a separatist fighter, Suh Andrew AKA Soza. He was gunned down by the Cameroon military on the night of Monday breaking Tuesday, October 5, 2021, around the rendezvous neighborhood in Bamenda.

When news about his death got to the neighborhoods, many celebrated saying he was a thorn in the flesh of the population.

“He beats people old enough to be his parents and grandparents. We can now rest. His colleagues have advised him on many occasions to respect his elders but since he thought because he was a gun carrier it means he was a superman, he refused to listen,” an inhabitant of Mulang who voted for anonymity told MMI.

Sources on the ground indicated to us that, the military prevented the family from taking the corpse for burial but changed their minds.

“The corpse was only released to his family on Wednesday at about 6 PM and burial was done before 9 Pm. Separatist fighters came for the body but the family refused to hand it to them,” a source around that area told us.

All attempts to get to the family were unsuccessful.
