Elements of the Foumbot Gendarmerie Legion in the West Region of Cameroon have presented a man called Mefire, whom they say had impersonated self-styled Ambazonian General “No Pity”.
They told the press that the alleged imposter had taken advantage of the crisis in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon to extort money from persons.
It is believed that the individual often attacked individuals and claimed that he was General No Pity, making away with their money and other valuable items.
It was after several complaints to the Gendarmerie of a certain “General No Pity” causing havoc in Foumbot that the forces of law and order decided to investigate.
The thug succeeded to evade arrest but was unfortunate when he was identified wearing a cap which he had stolen from one of his victims.
Mefire is currently being detained by the Gendarmes and will be taken to court subsequently for him to be judged accordingly.
