Government troops have killed five unarmed civilians at the Abangoh neighborhood in Bamenda in the early hours of Saturday July 14,2023.

Reports say the soldiers stormed a compound in that neighborhood and opened fire on the civilians.

Inhabitants of the area said they know the guys as students.

It is still to be established why the five youths were killed.

Incidents like this are normal in the two restive anglophone regions of Cameroon where young persons are killed just any how and nothing is done about it.
