Anglophone Crisis: Military kills a disabled man, two others in Belo



A young man, living with disability and two others have been shot dead in Belo, Boyo Division of the restive North West Region.





They are the latest victims of the violence that has ensued for the past two days in the area.




“Belo has been under attack since yesterday,” reveals a local, who says they are now living in fear.





Soldiers, he revealed, stormed the village, “… Killing a disabled boy by name Gideon last night and two other persons today.”



“We have been on the run since morning and they and still exchanging gunshots with separatist fighters,” he added.


It is still unclear why soldiers are targeting Belo residents.
