Two teenage girls are reportedly being treated at a hospital in Bot-Makak, in the Nyong and Kelle Division, Center Region after they were drugged and sexually assaulted by a native doctor.
The girls are said to have gone to the native doctor, seeking spiritual help so that they could make it in their exams.
The native doctor is believed to have convinced the girls that their success was being hampered by an evil spirit, which he needed to cast out.
The girls say they were given a liquid solution by the native doctor to drink, after which they passed out.
The victims were, later on, rushed to the hospital by their elder brother, who had personally brought them to the supposed native doctor.
He is believed to have found them unconscious, and completely naked at the place he had left them with the spiritualist.
The alleged culprit was quickly arrested and is currently under investigation by the forces of law and order. He has pleaded his innocence to the allegations.
The two teenagers meanwhile have regained their consciousness, and are responding to treatment.
