“So you are the person dating my man, I will kill you,” girl tortured over boyfriend affair in Buea Speaks out

The young girl recently tortured by some ladies in Buea, South West Region, has recounted her ordeal. The girl whose name MMI got as Minette appeared in a viral video on June 10, 2022, with a narration of how the whole saga unfolded.

The four girls identified in a video molesting Minette were arrested shortly after the video went viral attracting condemnations across the board.

According to Minette, she was in Limbe on Wednesday morning, when she received a text message on Whatsapp asking her to come to Buea.

The person reportedly claimed to be her boyfriend who had just arrived Buea from Kumba and needed to see her urgently.

“I left Limbe and came to Buea. I went to the house, and the first lady I saw was his Junior sister, I asked, where is Dio? She said he was inside the house. when I entered, the girl locked the door”, Minette said

While in the house, they were joined by a lady with whom her boyfriend had a child in the past who immediately broke a bottle and threatened to take away her life.

” So you are the person following (dating) my man… I will kill you!”, the ex-girlfriend threatened.

Despite pleas from Minette, she was tortured by the other girls.

“They brought pepper and poured it on the floor and said I should sleep on it.” she recounted.

“Threatened to be pierced with broken bottles, I was left with no option but to lie on the pepper naked”, Minette continued

The ladies reportedly grabbed sticks and planks with which they began hitting Minette.

“The sister was taking videos, the other one was bitting me on my legs while the other one shaving my hair with a blade,” she explained.

“I was shouting that please my bone is broken, they should allow me and let me go.” she lamented

She also said loud music was played on a sound system in the room so that her cries would not be heard outside.

Minette revealed that several videos were recorded by the torturers and made public using her phone, after forcefully getting her password.

According to Minette, the ladies confiscated her hand bag which contained a huge sum of money after which she was dragged to the streets naked.

She was rescued from the naked parade by someone working in the neighborhood

“It is because of one guy beside the chantier (building site) where they were working that rescued me and cleaned up my eyes and gave me his clothes” She noted

The preparators have since been arrested by the forces of law and order for further investigation.
