Once again, the military is proving that civilian lives in the North West and South West regions do not matter with another controversial assassination in Batibo.
It is believed that this latest victim, who happens to be a commercial bike rider, was arbitrarily shot in the head and killed after a brief scuffle with military officers on patrol.
Witness accounts say the bike rider in question had resisted to intimidations from these military officers who tried seizing his motor bike to no avail.
When he reportedly became too resistant, he was shot in the head and left dead.
This is the second case in less than 24hours of a commercial bike rider dying on the Northwest through selfish military ego.
Yesterday a similar incident also occured in Tabenken, where a bike rider called Beltus was shot and killed by a military officer who had initially hit the rider with his hilux car.
