A separatist fighter has been shot dead by soldiers in Nake Bakundu, a village in Cameroon’s South West region.
“The military has just shot a separatist fighter named Imoh in the South West region,” a local told MMI yesterday.
“They were stopping vehicles on the road to collect money from drivers and passengers when the military arrived and shot one of them. The other one ran away,” he explains.
The fight between separatist fighters and soldiers has ensued for four years today leaving thousands dead as government and separatist leaders fail to reach a consensus.
