Two soldiers are currently in critical condition at the Ndu hospital after their helicopter was attacked by separatist fighters in Ngarbuh, North West Region of Cameroon.

Sergeant Geslain Marcel of the Bafoussam squadron and Staff Sergeant Bouko Boko of the Nkambe battalion were severely injured following the attack which took place today, March 27, 2023.

The soldiers according to reports were on their way to Ntumbah to provide their colleagues with food when they were attacked.

One dead has so far been recorded from the attack.

It should be recalled that on February 14, 2020, Ngarbuh came under attack as soldiers raided the village, and massacred civilians, including women and children, while they slept. A whole family perished in the attack which left the world shocked.
