Anglophone Crisis
Bombe Bakundu in tears as one killed, two injured

One of three civilians shot in Bombe Bakundu, a locality in Meme Division, South West Region of Cameroon has died.

The young men were shot during a military raid on the community on Sunday night, locals say.

“The civilians from Banga Bakundu on their way to Bombe Bakundu were attacked by the military. One died, two have been injured,” a source told MMI.

The survivors, another source confirmed, are currently receiving health care in a medical facility.

Local authorities and the army are yet to comment on the incident.

The latest incident is one of hundreds of military raids since the Anglophone crisis took an ugly twist, transforming to an armed seccessionist conflict.
