Two young men are being treated for gun wounds in hospital after they were injured in a military raid in Banga Bakundu, South West Region. Three of them, all civilians, were shot, loca say, and one did not survive.


Loved ones of a glass and aluminium production company worker in Yaounde have accused his employer of having a hand in his death. Accused of theft by his employer, the deceased, Vitalis, was arrested, detained, and tortured, resulting in his death.


Motorbike riders in Kumba, Meme Division in the South West Region have decried the horrible state of roads in the town. They say the bad road is preventing them from going about their daily transportation activities which is their sole source of income.

A 20-year-old girl was found dead today in her home in Yagoua, Far North Region. Neighbors say she was discovered in her own pool of blood and a deep knife wound in her neck.
