Anglophone crisis:
One of six abducted Ndian Divisional Delegates killed in captivity

Reports say the body of Mabia Johnson Mudika, the Ndian Divisional Delegate of Economy, Planning and Regional Development in the South West region has been taken to Limbe.

Mabia Johnson who was one of six Divisional Delegates abducted by separatist fighters days ago. He was reportedly killed by his captors.

The whereabouts as well as conditions of the other five with whom the deceased was taken in Misore Balue, Ekondo Titi on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, CNA reports, remain unknown.

Government, it should be noted, has been mute over the abductions, leaving the victims’ families and loved ones in fear.

The head of the fighters that abducted the government officials, ‘Commander’ 10 Kobo said he was going to use the officials to set an example.

Despite the increasing violence and deaths in he country’s Anglophone regions, government maintains that life is fast returning to normal.
