“Arrested” From Mbatu On Friday, Ndeh Brothers Freed At Last!

Days ago, we announced how two brothers, Peter Awasum Ndeh, 44 years and Marcelus Ndeh, 30 years were “kidnapped” in Mbatu village by the military and taken to an undisclosed location.

News reaching us this morning says they have been released.

The Ndeh brothers are said to have been arrested in Mbatu, North West Region by the military Friday, June 19, 2020, while taking part in the funeral of their sister.

“They were not told why they were eventually released but they were accused of supporting Amabazonian fighters and keeping guns which is untrue,” said a source close to the family.

The source adds that Awasum and Marcellus were taken to the military base at the Bafut airport “and were not properly treated until yesterday”.
