As calls for Biya to resign intensify: CPDM challenges MRC to a public debate

As a nationwide protest against the regime of president Paul Biya goes under way in Cameroon Tuesday September 22nd 2020, the Cameroon People Democratic Movement (CPDM) party says the intellectual class of each of the parties should explain it’s point with clarity.

In a release signed by the national communication secretary of the CPDM PARTY Tuesday September 22, the party says Kamto has failed in the ballot boxes reason why he and his militants have taken to the streets.

Signing the release, Jacques Fame Ndongo says “we of the CPDM party challenge MRC party to an open debate to state facts, ideas, projects, visions and a lot more of each party “

To the communication service of the CPDM party, the nationwide protest has been a “…total fiasco”. Jacques Fame Ndongo thanked Caneroonians for not heeding to the call of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement party. To him, that is the republican spirit that respect democratic institutions contrary to the brutaliy of the CRM Party.

CPDM restates that Paul Biya was democratically elected in 2018 by the people of Cameroon and no amount of street protest can remove from power.
