Ayuk Tabe Reiterates Support For Restoration Struggle

Jailed Ambazonian leader, Julius Ayuk Tabe has restated his stance in the ongoing restoration struggle in the North West and South West regions. This comes following an earlier message said to have been released by him, stating he had been deceived to get into the struggle. This he notes is unfounded and untrue.”Today I was informed of a fake message, purportedly from me, addressed to the people of the South West region” he said. To Ayuk Tabe, “this is the work of lazy losers and enemies of our restoration train… This lie too will fail”.The jailed leader added that ” by now, our people must understand that I have no apologies for our involvement in the restoration struggle”.Since the start of the Anglophone Crisis it should be noted, messages have at several times been attributed to persons who later denied authoring them. Weeks back, staff of SOPECAM were faced with a similar situation, sending out a disclaimer of a message regarding the cause of death of late Buea Mayor, Ekema Patrick.Newspapers and other press organs have also faced similar challenges, with their content sometimes altered to suit the taste of either sides involved in the conflict in the North West and South West regions.
