Back-to-school: Cameroon’s Minister of Finance says treasury stations would “exceptionally open” tomorrow

The Minister of Finance in Cameroon has released a statement announcing that treasury stations will open “exceptionally” on Saturday, August 26th, 2023.

As school resumption in Cameroon approaches, the government aims to facilitate the process for teachers by ensuring the availability of their salaries.

The release said, “The minister of Finance wishes to inform state agents who receive their salaries through cash vouchers that Treasury stations throughout the country will exceptionally open on Saturday, August 26th, ahead of the resumption of the 2023 school year.”

The Treasury stations are open from the morning until 4:30 PM.
