Three students in Bafia, Center Region of Cameroon, who are reported to have injected themselves with Maggi water for buttocks enlargement will be operated upon, reports have said.
The students aged 15 to 18 are on the verge of undergoing a surgical operation after attempting to artificially grow their buttocks.
The three students from the Bafia Lambata Technical and Bafia Classic High Schools are being hospitalised at the Bafia District Hospital.
“They must be operated on since it created abscesses,” said Marthe Zintchem, Mayor of Bafia.
Investigations have been opened to determine the source of the information that has left the three students in such a critical state.
