Bafoussam: 25-year-old man stabbed to death

25-year-old Arnaud Belmondo Bakousso is now confirmed to have died after being severely stabbed several times on May 15, 2021 in the West Region, not far from their family home in the Ngaouche District.

The evening of the tragedy, Arnaud had returned home from the market where he worked as a salesman. His father says that some moments after the victim arrived home, he immediately left telling them he had to go deliver a consignment of memory cards to a client.

After having barely left the premises of their home, he was met with another young person like him, with whom he had an altercation that soon turned bloody.

The other anonymous individual, during the heated exchanges, removed a knife and stabbed Arnaud, then ran away, leaving him in a pool of blood.

According to some persons who had witnessed the unfortunate incident between the pair, the murderer was visibly intoxicated and not in his right frame of mind as he committed the gruesome act.

Arnaud was rushed to the hospital in an effort to save his life, but he later gave up the ghost due to excessive loss of blood.

The murderer, meanwhile, was arrested by elements of law and order. An investigation has been launched to uncover the whole story behind his actions.
