Ba Tagwe Ferdinand, the quarter head of Gungong in Bali, North West Region has reportedly died after he was shot when soldiers opened fire.
Some hours after he left his home for the Bali market, a friend of his tells MMI that his wife got heed of a gunfire exchange around the Bali market and tried to alert Ba Tagwe.
“His phone rang but no one responded…” He told us.
“She also called some people in the market to know if he were still at the market to no avail.”
It was later on realized that he was one of those shot when soldiers fired gunshots.
Our informant says after calling him multiple times, one of the soldiers responded to the victims cell phone claiming to be an Ambazonian.
“He told us in pidgin he was ‘General Amba’ and that he had killed the man because he was a blackleg,” the friend of the deceased revealed.
His French accent is nevertheless said to have been very noticeable, with his colleagues in the background also speaking French.
Ba Tagwe Ferdinand left behind a widow and two kids, one of them still just a year old.
