Bamenda: Supporters express mixed feelings as Indomitable Lions sail through to next round of AFCON 2021

Supporters of the indomitable lions of Cameroon based in Bamenda have expressed mixed feeling about the the performance of the team since the start of the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

Some say they are impressed with the fighting spirit the team showed during the group stage of the competition while others say more still needs to be done.

Some of them have pointed out that the team must make necessary adjustments to the team if they want to win the competition.

With the playing style exhibited by the lions in the group stage, some of the supporters rate Cameroon’s performance as far above average.

Though the lions are one of the favorites in the competition, many supporters think coach Antonio Conceicao must work on the defense and midfield to maintain the winning streak.

As the fans are having mixed feelings about the performance of the team in the first phase of the competition, their wish is for the lions to roar to victory during the finals.

Meanwhile, Ghana has been eliminated from the competition following a 3#2 humiliating defeat by debutants Comoros. Morocco and Gabon finished first and second respectively in Group C while Comoros who are third have an outside chance of qualification.

This Wednesday, January 19, Egypt will take on Sudan while Guinea Bissau will clash with Nigeria.
