Three persons have been shot dead in Bamenda, capital city of Cameron’s North West region.
Media reports name two of the victims- Konfor Gilbert Ngalla and Akum Shallot.
They were allegedly killed by soldiers who opened fire on a vehicle yesterday.
Security forces have made no official statement, but had earlier indicated that they are on a mission to weed out separatists through operation “Bamenda clean”.
The latest casualties in the close to four-year long crisis come after close to two weeks of terror in the town following the killing of a police officer by separatist fighters.
The situation has been worsened by the limitation in modes of transport, leaving civilians helpless.
