Bamenda: Unidentified Corpse Dumped At Road Junction After Shootings

The unidentified corpse of a youngster has been dumped at Rendezvous Junction in Bamenda, Mezam division of the restive North West region.

The corpse was seen at the area after intense gunshots of Tuesday April 5.

The coughing guns were heard in the Ntarikon, Randezvous and other neighborhoods of the regional capital city.

The halfed-naked corpse, a local told MMI showed signs of torture. Many believe that, the person in question went through pains before giving up the ghost.

Such killings have been common across the English-speaking regions of Cameroon since an armed conflict erupted there in 2017.

The conflict has claimed at least 3000 lives according to reports from credible organisations.
