Massogui Mayi Lionel, an independent journalist, was victim of a burglary attack early Tuesday September 25.
The unknown bandits attacked his Yaoundé residence around Centre des Handicapés at 2:00am in his absence, took away money and other important documents.
“They were after my life…they broke my door and took away my documents, pictures and money…l am lucky I was not home,” Massogui Mayi Lionel wrote on his Facebook page after the shocking discovery.
The freelance journalist is in good health but worried about his safety. He said the attack in his home came after he received several threats from anonymous sources.
He has notified the police pending investigations.
