The Banso Baptist Hospital(BBH), under the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Health services has promised to continue rendering health services despite previous threats.
In a disclaimer signed by the CBC management today, Monday, September 26, 2022, they reiterated that they are, “… committed to continue providing holistic healthcare to humanity at all times as an expression of Christian love.”
They equally debunked information stipulating that the BBH staff had plans of going on strike.
They added “Banso Baptist Hospital has no plan to indulge in any activity that may cause unrest or any form of public disorder.”
Prior to the disclaimer, reports had it that the BBH staff had threatened to go on strike following the arrest of three medical personnel by military officials.
The supposed strike was consequence of the arrest of some staff of the facility by government soldiers who accused them of treating separatist fighters.
In the same light, it is reported that other staff of the same facility were carted off by separatist fighters who also accused them of treating injured government soldiers.
The health facility despite being in a fix, has pledged to continue rendering service, treating all with passion and love.
