Human Rights lawyer, Barrister Nkongho Felix Agbor has held a series of discussions with some top political figures in the country.
He met with the former Minister of Public Service, Garga Harman, SDF Member of Parliament Hon Nitcheu and the SDF National Chairman Ni John Fru Ndi.
The three meetings held within the week, he said, were consultations with the political leaders “… on the way forward, reconciliation and the need for an equitable society”.
Talks with Garga Harman, he said, “were frank and honest. With Garga, it is always electrifying. It was nice to catch up with him again”.
Meeting Hon Nitcheu, Barrister Nkongho said, “We talked about the current crisis and the way out of this quagmire”.
“We equally dabbled on the recent problems within the SDF,” he revealed.
“Finally, it was the turn of the iconic and emblematic SDf National Chairman Ni John Fru Ndi. The story teller and political guru was at his best,” he wrote.
The encounter, he added, “… was very enriching. It is always an honor and pleasure to sit with the Chairman. His humility and sense of humor is extra terrestrial”.
The sessions, it should be recalled, were held at the same time seven leaders of opposition parties were meeting in Yaoundé to seek amendments to the country’s electoral code.
Though the sitting was interrupted by the police, the opposition leaders pledged to pull through with the action.
