Biggy 237 Finalist Rescues Disabled Man in Boyo Amid Family’s Opposition

Big Brother Cameroon finalist DP Star has made a powerful transition from reality TV to humanitarian work after rescuing a man living in extreme neglect and disability in the village of Sho, Belo Subdivision of the North West region.

The man, identified as Godlove, has lived with a severe mobility impairment for several years without any medical assistance.

DP Star discovered Godlove while traveling through the area and was immediately moved by the man’s deteriorating condition.

In a series of emotional updates shared on social media, DP Star and a small team provided immediate hygiene care to Godlove before transporting him to the hospital.

DP Star reported that they removed more than 20 jiggers from Godlove’s testicles during the cleaning process.

Using his public platform to advocate for the vulnerable, the reality star launched an awareness campaign. He called on his followers to contribute toward Godlove’s medical expenses and long-term care.

However, the humanitarian effort faced an unexpected turnout. A family member of Godlove living in the United States contacted DP Star, issuing a stern warning to stop all forms of help and to delete all social media posts featuring Godlove.

Despite the pressure and potential for conflict, DP Star has turned down the family’s request.

He stated that he is prioritizing the life and health of the patient over the demands of distant relatives who had left the man in a state of neglect for years.

As of today, DP Star’s decision to continue has led to positive results. Contributions from the public are still coming in, and Godlove is currently admitted at the Mbingo Baptist Hospital, where he is receiving specialized care.

DP Star has promised to continue documenting Godlove’s journey to ensure transparency and to make sure the man receives the full recovery he deserves.
