Bike rider killed in Obilli, Yaoundé

The bike rider popularly called Ezekiel is a native of Nkeng, in Nkum Subdivision in Bui Division, North West Region.

He was stabbed by unknown armed men around the Kameni neighborhood in Obilli, Yaoundé on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at about 2 am.

He was rushed to the Biyem-Assi hospital in a bid to save his life to no avail. He later gave up the ghost that same day and had been kept at the CHU Mortuary.

He will be buried at the public cemetery at Monté Science Etoug-ebe, since he can’t be transported back to Bui Division owing to the ongoing Anglophone crisis.

Unconfirmed reports also revealed that another bike rider of anglophone descent was also killed around the Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex in Warda on the same day by yet to be identified assailants.
