The Head of State, President Paul Biya has dismissed his diehard supporter, Prof Messanga Nyamding from the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM party.
The dismissal is contained in a communiqué has surfaced to the public space.
It is dated April 19.The University of Ngoundéré lecturer who is notorious for his unconditional support for President Paul Biya, will henceforth no longer be able to talk on behalf of the CPDM.

The dismissal comes after Messanga Nyamding’s unprecedented transfer from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon, IRIC Yaoundé, to the Faculty of Legal and Political Science of the University of Ngoundéré.
He claimed it was an inside job to alienate him from the media.He had said several times that his appearances on TV platforms were unsettling and giving sleepless nights to regime barons.
Professor Pascal Messanga Nyamding’s excommunication equally comes days after the Ad Hoc Disciplinary Committee of the CPDM summoned him. He was accused of inciting the army to rebellion, supporting the teachers’ strike, and publicly attacking certain members of government.The professor denied the charges against him, insisting he had committed nothing wrong to warrant such treatment from the party.
He had been a member of the CPDM Central Committee for long before his dismissal yesterday.
