President Paul Biya has reportedly ordered deputy Justice minister, Jean de Dieu Momo to quit posting on social media outlets especially Facebook.

237actu.com quotes a source as saying that the minister’s decision to abscond social networks follows a marching order from Biya.

MOMO suddenly disappeared from Facebook leaving his followers in doubt as to what might have happened.

His last publication on Facebook dates March 3 at 2:25 pm.

In the post, he wrote: “Denunciation, malicious people have published on Facebook and in all social networks that my passport …and other personal documents have been confiscated…”.

He has regularly been commenting on major issues concerning the country posted on Facebook by Cameroonians.

His outings On Facebook had been routine, often sparking controversy.

He will sometimes share his personal photos while hanging out in Yaounde on his Facebook page. Jean De Dieu Momo is yet to respond to MMI’s request for comments.
