Body of Missing Bamenda University Student Found in Decomposing State

Local residents have discovered the decomposed body of Swirri Ernestine, a student from the College of Technology (Coltech) at the University of Bamenda, in a bush in Bambili, North West Region.

Swirri Ernestine enrolled in the HND/BTech program at the College of Technology, University of Bamenda.

Sources report that local residents found her remains in an advanced state of decomposition near the Bambili Gendarmerie Brigade.

Investigators found signs that someone had strangled her before dumping her in the area.

Ernestine had been missing for more than five days before the tragic discovery.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the university community and the general public.

It raised concerns about the safety of students and the rising cases of insecurity in the university area.

Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the circumstances surrounding the young woman’s death.

Local sources report that the Tubah Council buried the remains after the discovery.

Students and residents are demanding a thorough investigation to ensure justice is served. They also call for measures to enhance security in the area.
