Boyo: 20 May activities launched

Activities to mark the 51st edition of the Naational Unity Day celebrations in Cameroon have been launched in Fundong, Boyo division of Cameroon’s North West Region.

The Unity Day to be celebrated on May 20 was launched with a sports walk, Thursday May 18, 2023 by Tegni Fidele, Senior Divisional Officer, SDO, of Boyo.

Dubbed intergenerational sports walk, the exercise pulled together Pupils, Students, civil servant, workers and business men who converged at the esplanade of the SDO’s office for a kickoff.

Reports say they walked across the town of Fundong before stopping at the grandstand for other keep fit exercises.

The symbolic walk will culminate in a grand ceremony on Saturday May 20, 2023.
