Breaking: Ekondo Titi gets new female Mayor after predecessor died in Separatist ambush

Margaret Ndiba has been elected as the new mayor of Ekondo Titi council area in the restive South West Region of Cameroon.

She was voted today Wednesday, June 15th 2022, during an extra-ordinary council session.

This comes over three months after her predecessor, Nanji Kenneth was killed in a separatist Ambush — alongside five officials.
