Breaking: Renowned Cameroonian author John Nkengasong is no more

The death has been announced of the distinguished Cameroonian author John Nkemngong Nkengasong.

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Buea passed is reported to have died on the night of Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Nkengasong is the author of several books such as Across the Mongolo, The Widow’s Might, Black Caps and Red Feathers, The Call of Blood, and God was African.

His death is a great loss to the literary community as a whole and Cameroon in particular.
