Councilors of the Mamfe Municipality have voted in 32-year old Tabenchong Robertson Ashu as the new Mayor.
He was voted around 11a.m. this Tuesday, June 30th, 2020, at the Mamfe council deliberative chambers.
He takes over from Priestly Ojong, who was brutally murdered on Sunday, May 10th, 2020, at Eshobi, Mamfe.
Like the old Mayor, he too comes from Eshobi village. He too is a businessman and an astute rising politician.
He is Married with three kids
It should be noted that all 20 councilors present, voted for the new Mayor.
