Brenda Biya fires back at BAS: “My father is president not me”

Brenda Biya, daughter to Cameroon’s president has responded to critics after she was harassed by members of the Brigade Anti Sardinade, BAS in Paris, France.

“I don’t rely on people. I work hard and don’t care about the nervous…” She stated.

She added that “… The ropes are always available for the jealous.”

“It’s not my fault that my father is president. He has his life and I have mine, my father is a politician not me” Brenda lashed out.

Brenda’s reaction comes after Cameroon-born activist in France, Calibri Calibro tried to have her thrown out of her hotel where she is residing in Paris. Calibri was accompanied by other anti-Biya activitists in France.

Brenda’s recent incident with the BAS is not the first of its kind. The group often protests against president Biya and members of his cabinet in European countries.

Most of their protests in the past, were held at the Swiss intercontinental hotel, where Cameroon’s head of state, Paul Biya spent most of his time with wife, Chantal Biya.

Members of the Brigade Anti Sardinade have also been staging series of protests in different parts of the world, calling on 87-year-old Biya to resign.
