The South West Regional League of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has announced its new marketing team following a general assembly held in Buea today.
Among the appointed members is a young and dynamic female sports journalist, Ngunyi Sonita.
Sonita will be part of a seven-member Regional Marketing, Promotion, and Media Committee that also includes CRTV journalist, Walter Wilson Nana.
The newly constituted committee’s responsibilities encompass crafting and implementing communication strategies to enhance the visibility and promotion of football activities in the region.
The leadership of the committee includes Diony Collins Modimi as President, Mbua Emmanuel Mbua as Vice President, and Nkepyah Walter Wilson Nana as Secretary General.
Committee members comprise Binsinla Desire Vernyuy, Mangwe Elvis Ngong, Ngunyi Sonita Nwohtazie, and Obi Emmanuel.

Their diverse skills and backgrounds in media and marketing are expected to contribute to the effective execution of the communication strategy.
Their appointment is a fallout of a FECAFOOT South West general assembly that was held in Buea today.
The FECAFOOT regional president Ndazeh Valery, said it was time for them to reshuffle members of some committees two years after the Samuel Eto’o-led FECAFOOT management was voted into office.
Aside from being the youngest member of the new media committee, Ngunyi Sonita is the lone female in the group.
She is rising star in sports journalism. Having graduated from the University of Buea in 2021 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Sonita has been making waves in the sports reporting scene.
She currently works with Hi TV in Buea, and has also been actively engaged in sports commentary for the Elite One club, Victoria United.
