Buea Floods: Government distributes relief package to victims

Victims of the disastrous floods in Buea, South West Region have been handed a government relief package consisting of a mattress, two buckets, a blanket, some bars of soap, tins of sardines and a bag of rice.

The aid was distributed by Territorial Administration Minister Paul Atanga Nji as he visited Buea on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Close to 250 households are said to have been affected by the floods that killed two people on Saturday, March 18.

The flood victims were laid to Monday, amid speculations that some of the corpses have been trapped in the mud.
