Buea: Many Injured As Speeding Car Ramps Another

An accident has occurred at Bonduma this morning, leaving severe damage to two of the three cars involved.

According to witnesses, one of the damaged cars, being a private car, was on high speed heading uptown through Bonduma.

“This private car was approaching from the Santa Barbara direction when it got to this place and suddenly realized another taxi was taking a turn on the road, to enter that garage, it struggled to dodge it but scratched it a little. Unfortunately, he caught another taxi descending from Sandpit”.

At the time of the incident, the taxi descending is said to be the only car amongst the three containing more than one person.

Though it is not clear how many people were aboard, reports say almost everybody was rushed to the hospital, with some having injuries that were bandaged.

Fortunately, no deaths were recorded.
