Buea: Mile 14 Dibanda Gets New Chief

Ndaveson Ndiveh Ikome has been presented to the population of Mile 14, Dibanda in Buea, South West Region as their new traditional ruler.

This was in a heavily guarded ceremony held in the locality presided over by the Divisional Officer for Buea.

At just 24 and a student of the University of Buea, Chief Ndiveh becomes the youngest chief in all of Fako Division.

He replaces Chief Ngale Ikome found dead on Sunday, December 13 after being abducted by separatist fighters.

Chief Ndiveh’s coronation ceremony comes up in the weeks ahead.
