Buea: Wind ravages church building in Lysoka

A powerful wind last night unroofed a building belonging to Baptist Church Lysoka in Buea Subdivision.

The wind that was accompanied by rainfall swept off rafters from the Church building leaving it bare.

This happened a day after another powerful rainstorm destroyed some buildings in Buea and caused power failure in most towns in Cameroon.

Since the rainstorm on Wednesday, the city of Buea and its environs have suffered blackouts and lack of water.

People have been camping around bars and houses with generators to charge phones and other devices.
