The Inspection Mission from the Confederation of African Football will be expected to analyze all the infrastructure that will host AFCON2021 within one week.
The CAF Inspection Mission was announced by Mr. Samson Adamu, Director of Competition at CAF, during an inspection mission at the Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaoundé, meant to host the draws for AFCON.
For a week, the inspection mission will be touring almost all main sport infrastructure in the 6 towns that will host the AFCON tournament.
Given that the inspection mission will be familiar with most of the infrastructure as they were used to host the CHAN, the inspection mission will be expected to focus more of its attention on stadia that have not been used before.
Authorities in the country are optimistic about the progress of work in the various infrastructures. The Magil construction company has assured that the Olembe Football Stadium amongst others is expected to be delivered in November.
