CAF Investigating Samuel Eto’o Over Alleged Improper Conduct.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that it is investigating Cameroonian football legend Samuel Eto’o over allegations of improper conduct. The allegations stem from Eto’o’s time as president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT).

According to CAF, the investigation was launched after it received written statements from several Cameroonian football stakeholders. The statements allege that Eto’o engaged in a number of unethical and corrupt practices during his time at FECAFOOT.

The allegations include:

  • Misappropriating funds from FECAFOOT
  • Using his position to enrich himself and his friends
  • Hiring unqualified people to positions of power at FECAFOOT
  • Obstructing justice

Eto’o has not yet reacted to these allegations against him.

CAF has said that it will take the allegations against Eto’o very seriously. The investigation is ongoing, and Eto’o is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
