CAF Officials in Cameroon to evaluate AFCON Draws venue

As preparation for the draws of the African Cup of Nations Tournament that will be organised in Cameroon next year gather steam, some officials from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) are set to inspect the venue for hosting the event – the Yaoundé Multi-purpose Sport Complex.

The CAF team which is in Cameroon already is supposed to complete its assessment on the 12th May, 2021. The chairing committee for the preparation works are being led by sports Minister, Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi.

Given the fact that representatives from the more than 20 teams to take part in the tournament will be present in Cameroon, CAF and the Ministry of Sports have it as a priority to make the preparations for the draws of the tournament perfect.

After the inspection works at the site, the CAF team will equally hold a working session with the tournament managerial team and COCAN to examine how things stand at the moment.
