Calm is yet to return to Nwa

It is alleged fulanis herdsmen are yet to drop their hatchet.
Sources in Nwa have said, the groups that came from neighbouring Nigeria and Banyo in Adamawa region have occupied some villages while the fleeing Yamba population are still seeking refuge at a place called Saa kaka.

Meanwhile, images of houses burnt last week in one of the affected villages called Ntong, have emerged(see below).

At least 6 people were confirmed dead including a retired DO, within one week of persistent attacks by alleged mbororos in some five villages in the northern part of Nwa subdivision, Donga Mantung division.
