Cameroon no longer has representatives at the ongoing African Champions League and the African Confederations Cup.
The country’s representatives Stade Renard of Melong, at the Confederations Cup and UMS of Loum at the African Champions League were eliminated in separate encounters over the weekend.
Stade Renard was eliminated by DCMP of Kinshasa on a 4 goals aggregate after suffering a 2-0 defeat in the DRC and another 2-0 in Limbe.
Cameroon’s flagbearer at the African Champions League, Union De Movement sportif UMS of Loum were also sent back home to Loum by AS Vita Club of the Democratic Republic of Congo. After playing a virgin tie with AS vita club in Douala, the champion of Cameroon were given a 1-0 spank in the DR Congo.
