Cameroon: Celebrities panic as Shakiro names alleged homosexual ‘accomplices’

Popular Cameroonian crossdresser, Njeuken Loic aka Shakiro is again in the news.

Shim took to social media hours ago to name those he (she) said are engaged in homosexual practices alongside.

Shakiro who spent five months at the New Bell Prison charged with homosexuality in a live video on Facebook said he (she) was going to name all his accomplices. He went on to list a number of celebrities, notably comedians like Dingue, crossdressing act, Ma Jackie, and Cabrel Nanjip. Canal 2 hosts; Chop Chop and Dexter.

He also listed pro régime socialité, Steve Fah and Mbole star, Happy d’Effoulan.

He further showed unclad images of a male he said had been making advances towards him for sexual relations. The male, he said, was just one of many others.

Shakiro too lashed out at celebrity, Nathalie Koah, accusing her of being a sex worker.

“You all, stop acting like saints, you all come to me inbox, I have accepted who I am without shame, I am not scared, I’m not perfect. But stop claiming you are, when all you do is send naked pictures of you. Some of you are even married men,” revealed Shakiro.

He went on to decry the conditions at the New Bell Prison in Douala where he was held alongside Patricia, who was arrested with him.

Unlike correctional facilities, the prison, he said, only made worse those detained in it.

Meanwhile, none of Shakiro’s claims on homosexuality have been accepted or denied by those he called out in the video.

However, many have been reading meaning into the actions of the accused.

One of them, comedian, Cabrel Nanjip earlier today, uploaded a picture of himself and his partner on Facebook.

Though he made no mention of Shakiro and his accusations, many of his followers interpreted the move as a sign of denial.

It should be recalled that homosexuality in Cameroon is punishable by imprisonment and a fine.
