Transport Minister, Massena Ngalle Bibehe today held a crisis meeting with stakeholders of the transport sector. The meeting was aimed at seeking ways to reduce the number of road accidents that have killed hundreds recently.


The Cameroonian Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, Desiré Jean Claude Owono, has prohibited nationals living in the neighbouring country from taking any legal proceedings against their compatriots. North West Public Independent Conciliator, Tamfu Simon has urged residents of the region to settle disputes through his office. He has also announced a tour to sensitise locals on the function of his office.



Several divisions across the North West region are slowly shutting down due to standoffs between separatist fighters and government forces. Bui, Donga Mantung, Ngohketunjia, and Boyo divisions have all been affected with traders, hospitals and farmer being among the most affected.
