Detained Tech Entrepreneur, Rebecca Enonchong has regained her freedom after spending three nights in custody. Upon her release she said her arrest will not stop her from continuing her battles. “This is just the beginning,” she told reporters in Douala.



As many jubilated after the release of Rebecca Enonchong, critics are questioning why she was arrested in the first place. Some have described her detention as illegal, adding that it will discourage foreign investments and have devastating impact on Cameroon’s image on the international scene.


An Ambazonian group in Fako, South West Region of Cameroon has claimed responsibility for the burning of a tractor in Tiko. The group called “The Fako Mountain Lions” reportedly carried out the attack today, Friday August 13, 2021.


Several businesses are crumbling in Bamenda, North West Region as the road blocks in different parts of the region persist. The region’s Governor, Adolphe Lele L’Afrique has assured that things will return to normalcy in a week.


There were gun battles today in Bambili, Bambui, Bui and Bali as government soldiers battled confronted Seperatist fighters to unblock roads. The roads have been barred for weeks now — paralyzing movements.


There is outrage in the Anglophone regions as a leaked University of Buea Senate agenda suggests at the creation of UB campus in Akonolinga. Many say the move is an attempt by government to diminish the institution’s originality.


A total of 18 stadia across the country have been selected to host the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon. Contrary to what was predicted, the Douala Bepanda stadium will not be hosting matches at the tournament.
