Cameroonian judoka athlete, Hortense Mballa Atangana has been knocked out of the Tokyo Olympics. She was defeated by Turkish fighter, Sayit Kayra.

Nigeria’s minister of housing and works, Babatunde Fashola today visited the newly constructed bridge in Ekok linking Cameroon to Nigeria. The bridge was constructed courtesy of collaboration between both countries.

Cameroonian soldiers in the Far North Region have vowed to intensively fight against Boko Haram. This follows a series of recent attack by the group. They made the assurance in the presence of the Minister of Defense who was on a working visit to assess the security situation of the region.

Over 1,000 women from across the nation would end a three-day peace conference in Yaounde tomorrow. The women assembled in the capital are brainstorming on ways to engage in seeking solution to the country’s conflicts.
